

Dorothy Pauline Broom, 90, of Baytown, TX passed away March 2, 2012. She was born on February 2, 1922 in Port Neches, TX. She was very active in church functions at Wooster Baptist Church in Baytown. Pauline was an avid gardener and very much enjoyed oil painting. She was the first to volunteer to assist in special events organization and decorating. She enjoyed friendly competition playing 42 with church members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Willard Broom; daughter, Nelena Benson; and grandson, Kevin Benson.
She is survived by her sisters; Joyce Smith, Evelyn and husband Charlie Fritsche; sons, Kenneth and wife Joanna, Harold and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Karen and husband Greg Lochridge, Beau Broom, Shonda Purvis, Cole Broom and wife Misty, and Marisa Broom; great-grandchildren, Kristin and husband P.J. Landrum, Matt Moseley and fiancé Victoria Dowler, Logan Broom, Ryan and wife Rachael Lochridge, Reagan and wife Candace Lochridge; great-great grandchildren, Austin Stoerner, Ashlynn Purvis, Kynlee and Kohen Landrum, Ryleigh, Payne and Presley Lochridge.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wooster Baptist Church, 7007 Bayway Dr, Baytown, TX.
Serving as Pallbearers will be all the grandsons, great-grandsons and Exxon-Mobil “Team 13” as Honorary Pallbearers.
