Dorothy M. Hall Slack

Dorothy M. Hall Slack, 91, of Baytown was born January 11, 1922 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and passed away April 1, 2013 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. She was a stay at home mom who raised three boys. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids and great grandkids. She especially enjoyed watching the Mavericks, Rangers, and Cowboys. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Baytown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Art Hall; sister, Helen Fava; and son, Tom W. Slack, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Tom W. Slack, Sr. of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Vicky Slack of League City and Lynn and Darlene Slack of Baytown; grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips, Robert Slack, Jr., Lyndsey Slack, Kayleigh Slack, Bliss Taylor, Lacey Mattek, Dean Slack, and Trish Slack; and great grandchildren, Cody Slack, Robby Slack III, Cameron Slack, and Megan Phillips.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Lowe officiating.
