Earline Loftin Fulton, aged 69, went to heaven on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at M.D. Anderson ICU surrounded by her family and friends after a brief struggle with cancer. Earline was born November 10, 1945, at Goose Creek Hospital in Goose Creek, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Artis E. Loftin and Estelle Kelly Loftin and brothers, James Loftin and Jack Loftin. Earline is survived by her husband, Charlie Fulton of Baytown; sister, Merline Fogtman of Houston; daughter, Suzanne Matysiak Hartmann and husband Lynn, and their sons, Jacob Hartmann and Jordan Hartmann, all of Fredericksburg; son, Ronald Troy Matysiak and his children, Taylor Matysiak, Chase Matysiak, and Logan Matysiak, all of Baytown; son, Kenny Fulton of Longview; daughter, Michelle Fulton and her son, Patrick Price, both of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives and close friends.
Earline worked in the Petro-Chem Plant for 27 years. In her off-time she and Charlie had an antique business. They went to auctions during the week to load a trailer and once a month they headed to Canton. She would shop until she dropped and Charlie was the shop keeper. If they did not sell out they would load the trailer up and head for home to start a new week. She LOVED old glass, jewelry, brushes, hats, and her own antique Charlie. Earline loved to decorate for weddings and luncheons at their home and church, St. John's United Methodist Church, where she was a chairperson of the Family Life Committee. She made sure each event was beautiful and different. She did not like the set up to be square or in a straight line; everything had a special angle. Everything she used to decorate would always be as absolutely beautiful as herself. She shopped at GW Fashions (Goodwill) for everyone in need. She volunteered her time for the Cookie Jar and the Thrift Center. She loved building her dream home, decorating every room as a museum with a theme, displaying antiques and pictures. Earline enjoyed having Relay for Life benefit luncheons and opened her home to others. She knew the importance of the Relay for Life organization for she was a breast cancer survivor for 8 years. This time she was hit with Large Cell B Double Hit Lymphoma. This cancer is one of the fastest growing cancers; it took her to heaven in 4 weeks. Earline was the most loving compassionate, generous, and fun loving person. She has been a caregiver to many family and non-family members. She made sure they were comfortable, healthy, and happy by taking them to the doctor, grocery shopping, attorney's, etc. Earline loved her family, friends and church families. She was an earth angel and she completed her work here and went to be with her family in heaven.
