Edith Marie Davis, age 84 of Old River, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Edith was born July 25, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas to William and Ollie Greer. She was married to James R Davis for 65 years.
Edith had a career in banking, working at many different firms where she excelled and became Vice President.
She was a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and loved life and all it had to offer. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Olie and William Greer, as well as many of her siblings.
She is survived by; her husband James Davis; sons James M, Richard E and wife Laurie; granddaughter Leila and husband Kyle; grandson Richard and wife Quraishah; great-grandchildren Abigail, Thomas, Clare, Gregory and Mary; and her sister Jean.
A visitation for Edith will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521. A committal service will occur Friday, August 12, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521.
