Edra Lee Lorenz

Edra Lee Lorenz, 85 of Baytown, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. She was born on May 8, 1921 in Caradan, Texas to Parents: Abner E. Burkes and Ann W. Long Burkes. She was a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting and sharing her artwork with her family and friends. She loved traveling and gardening and enjoyed working in her yard.

She is survived by her Husband: Milton Lorenz of Baytown; Sons: Cary W. Blackburn and his wife Diane of Fort Worth, Texas and Jim D. Blackburn and his wife Mary of Cypress, Texas; Step-Son: Ronald Lorenz and his wife Pat; Step-Daughter: Rena Roussell of Cypress, Texas; Grandchildren: Holli White, Leah Carrillo, Jared Blackburn, Dani Blackburn, Chance Blackburn, Adam Blackburn, Ryan Beavers, Lanae Roussell and David Lorenz; Great-Grandchildren: Corey Kilsby, Hailey White, NovaLee Carrillo, Brandon Beavers, Blakely Beavers, Reid Lorenz, Evan Lorenz and Tate Lorenz; Niece: Nelda R. Calder of Hico, Texas and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 30, 2007 from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. Funeral Services for Edra Lee Lorenz will he held at 10:00 A. M. on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown with the Rev. David Lorenz officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Baytown.
