I can't believe it has almost been a year since you have left this world.I am sorry I was not at the funeral Sheila but I did not even know for months after he passed.I was looking on myspace I don't remember who's I seen RIP Shawn overon there page all I know is I was in shock I asked around and found out it was true I cried even though we where not great friends we still had some good times at the clubs and breakfast after one time I wont forgetfor sure he asked me to go and drive your car around to the exit dorr at cherokee and I didn't know it was standard guess I had to much to drink to LOL but what was so funny was when Shawn came to see what the hold up was when he found out he would not let me live that down since my own car was standard he was cracking up at me... Shawn you will always be remembred.......

There is nothing we can say to ease your pain right now but just know we love you and we loved Shawn. He fit in this crazy family from day one. This was such a shock to everyone and he will be missed so very much.We are here for you for whatever you need.You keep asking us to just bring him back and I wish I could more than anything.Our minds tell us he is in a better place but our hearts don't want to listen and I know it's hard right now but he is watching over all of us now and will forever live in our hearts and memories. We love you very much Sheila.

so sorry to hear about the loss of shawn, my husband and him use to be friends  a while back, when i read the paper and saw this, it was a shock to us, i just saw him not that long ago... but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers..

Rest in peace Shawn.  Thanks for always making Sheila happy.  New Years was so much fun.  I will always remember the good time we had ringing in 2009.  Watching you and Sheila dance and stare into one another's eyes described the love you two shared more than words could express.  You and Sheila will be together again but for now I am going to watch over her from here.  I know you are now her guardian Angel.  You are in a better place now of complete rest.

This doesn't seem real. I thought mom was just playing when she told me what happened. I had so much fun with you on New Years and I was looking forward to going out with you again in a couple weeks. I never got a chance to tell Shawn just how much he meant to me.  We had many ups and downs growing up in the same house together and through it all we loved each other very much.  I will miss him more than he will ever know and he will live on in my heart forever. I love you Sheila and I am so glad that he spent his last days with the person he was always meant to be with.

shawn,i hope you would be proud of the service i planned for you. i told you years ago that i love you unconditionally and if you were watching down on me through this hard time then i guess now you can believe that i did and always will. you are my heart, and soul mate and i am so happy that after 16 years God brought us back together again and i wish i could have more time with you, but i am thankful for the time that we did have i don't regret any of it except maybe some of the hard times and things that we may have said but deep inside we both always knew that we never meant any of it. words are just words i always told you that actions are what counted, and i think that my actions spoke for them selves. we were each other first true love and obviously the last. and i am so grateful for that i love you soooo much baby and wish i could have you back here with me to tell me everything is going to be okay. until i meet you on the other side

Shawn and Sheila, in the little time that Ive known you and your family I have grown to love yall. Yall have been there for me and Jayla when no one else was. I will always cherish the times we spent together and will never forget them. Being around yall has always brought a smile to my face and now being without you will bring tears but you will always be in my heart. You 2 are good people and I am blessed to have yall as true friends. Thank yall for everything.

Jan'05 was a sad day for me to here that my cousin, one year younger than myself had passed away.  Although, we were close as children, I am sad to say that our adult lives did not cross pathes very often. When I saw you in the casket all I could remember was the bleach blonde little boy that you used to be, full of hope and promise. I hope that you find peace and happiness in your ""new"" life, and that your family finds peace and serenity as well. Remember to ""see"" with your heart, for it is when you see life and the world with your heart and spirit that you truly gain an understanding of what's in it.
