Eleanor Rae Estess Moses, 77, of Baytown, Texas, passed away April 27, 2021. She was born on February 29, 1944 to Raymond M. Estess and Merle Ravencraft Estess. She was married to Charles Ray Moses for 21 years. Ellie had a career in customer service for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. She was a member of Mercy Gate Church and had a passion for people, grand kids, church family, traveling with her husband, fishing, and loved to laugh and tell a good joke. https://admin.mem.com/sso/newde/10171541#keepsake/clergyrecord She was preceded in death by her father Raymond M. She is survived by children Susan V. Griggs (Paul) from Denham Springs, Rachel N. Heurtevant (Paul) of Baton Rouge, Jeffrey E. Swayze (Claudia) of Castle Rock, Colorado, Ryan D. Swayze (Rebecca) of Vancouver, Washington, Robert Eric Moses of DeRidder, Louisiana, and Randall Joel Moses (Danielle) of Crosby, Texas. Grandkids Anna Griggs, Ashton Griggs, Austin Griggs, Adaline Tullos (Jessie), Aryanne Griggs, Ciara Nelson (Chase), Anthony Heurtevant, Chris Leiner-Swayze, Jewel Leiner-Swayze, Lydia Blythe Swayze, Helen Nicole Swayze, Jayden Alexander Moses, Chad Mills, Brittany Mills, and Hayden Mills, Kyra Brown, Dravon Brown, and Ally Griffin. Great Grandkids Cameron Nelson and Carter Nelson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, April 30, 2021, at Mercy Gate Church 9627 Eagle Drive, Mont Belvieu, TX 77523. Funeral service will follow starting at 11:00 AM.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, 3178 US Hwy. 190, DeRidder, Louisiana 70634, with a graveside service to follow at Whitaker Cemetery also in DeRidder, Louisiana.
