Eleanor Louise Westbrook Morehead

Eleanor Louise Westbrook Morehead went to be with our Lord on June 12, 2014 at the age of eighty-nine. Born May 17, 1925, she met her husband Jack Morehead in California during WWII and later settled in Anahuac, TX where they raised four children.

Eleanor was loving, caring, and compassionate and enjoyed her pets and gardening as well as spending time with her family and friends. But by far her greatest passion was music and singing where she was an accomplished soprano, and to the end made every effort to continue singing in the church choir, or performing in public.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles W Westbrook and Alice Roberts Westbrook and her husband, Jack Morehead.

She is survived by her children Jack Wesley Morehead, Bill Morehead and wife Suzanne, Carol Morehead Pennington and husband Archie, and Robbie Morehead and wife Janie. Surviving grandchildren are Christina Koenig, Sarah Layson, Mary Kate Cool, Emilie Morehead, Jessica Malone, Michael Morehead, and Macy Morehead. She has five great-grandchildren and a sister, Alice Faye Westbrook Jacobson.

There will be a memorial service at 6 PM Monday, June 16, 2014 at the St Mark's United Methodist Church, 3811 N Main St, Baytown, TX.
