Eliseo was born November 13, 1960 in Port Isabel, TX. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a professional shrimper and spent much of his time near the water; especially Galveston and South Padre Island.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guillermo Martinez; sister, Tomasa Gonzalez; and brother, Elias Martinez.
He is survived by his mother, Anita Manrrique; daughter, Eloina Martinez; grandchildren, Lee Ann Simmons, Christopher Simmons, Faith Martinez, and siblings, Irma Martinez, Guillermo Martinez Jr. and wife Paula, Jose Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Francis DeLeon and husband Ramon, Cirilo Martinez, Juanita Martinez, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Ramon DeLeon Jr., Jorge Martinez, Guillermo Martinez III, Cesar Martinez, Daniel Mora, Lloyd Galvan, Policarpio Galvan III, Juan Gamez, and Manuel Galvan and Honorary Pallbearer Dionicio Gonzalez Jr.
