

Emory Floyd Hallman, Jr., 78, of Baytown was born November 8, 1936 in Cleveland, TX and passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was a member of Baptist Temple Church. He retired from J M Huber after 26 years of service as an electrician. He spent his retirement enjoying golf, hunting, fishing and playing card games on the computer. He looked forward to spending time with his family especially during the holiday season.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Floyd Sr. and Deveda (Babe) Hallman. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris Hallman; sisters, Frances Ladoux of Baytown, and Kay and Bill Tate of Coldsprings; children and their spouses, Terrie and Jeff Laird and Bruce and Theresa Hallman; grandchildren, Alicia and Jason Morgan, Jonathan Laird, Heather and Rob Orchard, Brooke and Haley Hallman and Abby Hayes; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, and Jordyn Morgan, Trevor Laird, and Brenton and Lane Orchard; several nieces and nephews; and extended family who took special care of him daily Urslin Gustave, Kathy Saunders and Vanessa Saunders.
His family will receive friends at Earthman Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 1pm – 2pm with funeral services following at 2pm with Bro. Jeff Fuqua officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews.
