

Evelyn Settle, 86, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Baytown. She was born May 27, 1929 in Hillsboro, Texas to her late parents, Wallace Alfred Lynch and Emey Bell Miller Lynch and grew up in the town of West.
Mrs. Settle had been a resident of Baytown since 1952, formerly worked at a textile mill in Waco and loved camping in her trailer and spending time at the beach with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Owen ""Donnie"" Settle; sister, Betty Howard; brothers: Earl, Henry, Daniel and Albert Lynch, and her nieces Pat Anderson and Marilyn Guyton.
Survivors include her children, Dean Settle and his wife, Vicki and Dana Boswell and her husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Deana Hebert and her husband, Jim, Joe Barnes and his wife, Stevie, Tara Cox and Winter Boswell and his wife, Athea; great-grandchildren, Devin Hebert, Bianca Lozano, Joe Barnes, Owen Barnes and Joey Lynn Cox; sister, Mary Taylor and her husband, James and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Navarre Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Winter Boswell officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Barnes, Winter Boswell, Jim Hebert, Devin Hebert, Dean Settle and Ronnie Boswell.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff, especially Judy, for all the help and care they provided at Cedar Bayou Nursing and Rehab Center.
