Dear Texas family,
Jane Johnson told me how to find Florine's obituary on the internet then I saw the online ""post a tribute"" information. Kitty Sue kept me informed as to Florine's condition and illness. My mother Marge Brunson Bass, Charlie's youngest daughter, and Florine were close to the same age, Mama was born in June 1923. My mother always enjoyed the Texas kin coming to visit in the summers. She and Florine would double-date and have fun. I am still at a loss for my mother(d.1-06) so I send my deepest sympathy to all of you whom I hope to see in South Alabama, the dimple of Dixie, real soon. Dear Sandy
I had no idea and was so shocked seeing your mom's name in Sundays paper.  You are so in my thoughts and prayers and please let me know if I can do anything for you.  She was a beautiful lady inside and out.  I loved her and will remember her always.  God Bless you and your family. Life is so short, make the most of each day with your children and family.

Ms Cookie did not touch my life for very long but I appreciate and cherish the times we did share. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed by many. She loved her friends and family so much and would do anything for anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with her children and grandchildren (& Kitty) in this time of sadness.

Did not intend for my first contact with you in 40 years to be this way,

I do so strongly remember that feisty lady and that picture in the paper was gorgeous, I see much of you in that picture,

I live here in Baytown and am wondering where she is buried,

Remember my staying overnite with you at your grandparents home in old Baytown not far from the Humble refinery, as I recall we drove from Houston in your aqua convertible

Your parents seemed to have a great deal of fun together even with a teenage daughter and precocious son, that Bubba,
