Frances was a member of Second Baptist Church of Baytown. She loved and enjoyed reading, her dog Sophie, visiting with friends, and playing games online with friends.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Jewell Morris; brothers, Bob, Leo, and George Morris; sister, Joyce Cowan; daughter, Lynn Smith; and son, Jimmy Ellington.
She is survived by her husband, James Ellington; grandson, James D. Ellington (Jessica); granddaughter, Nikkie Malone (Chris); great-grandkids, Michael, Grace, Kolton, and Christopher; brother, Allan Morris; nieces and nephews, and by her loving dog, Sophie.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to your local dog rescue.
