He is survived by children: Elizabeth Davila, Jerry Davila Jr., Samuel Davila, and Rachel Smith; grandchildren: Kenneth Vansickle, Raquel Davila, Madelynn Smith, Xavier Davila, Isabella Smith and Francisco Davila III. He worked at DSI Transport, Channelview ISD, and opened El Tejano Mexican Restaurant in 1981.
He was an active community supporter, sitting on the board of HCFW #6 for 31 years, coaching baseball, and supporting FFA.
Services will be held August 30, 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Mont Belvieu with a Rosary 2:15 p.m. and visitation from 3 until 5p.m., with a mass to follow.
