He was a loving husband and father and was always there when someone needed a hand. He enjoyed hunting, boating and four-wheeling. He worked for Verizon for 36 years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Watkins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Connie Watkins; three sons, Michael Watkins, Charlie Watkins and Ernest Watkins, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
