Gary Rombs, 49, of Baytown was born in Baytown August 22, 1957 and passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 in a Houston Hospital. He attended Ross S. Sterling High School and was a U. S. Army veteran and a supervisor for Brock Maintenance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, and the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Elesa Rombs and is survived by his wife, Debbie Rombs and daughters, Laci Rombs and Brittani Rombs, all of Baytown; brothers, Ricky Rombs of Port Arthur, Danny Rombs of Dayton, and Ronny Rombs of Kerrville; granddaughter, Hailey Rombs-Dye; and several close cousins, nieces, and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Beau Rosser officiating. At his request, his body will be cremated afterwards.
