He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Mae; daughter, Joan Bedwell and husband Mike; son, George Dylla, Jr. and wife Freddie; daughter, Rose Wise and husband Bryan; daughter, Cathy Andrusick and husband Richard; grandchildren, Craig, Tammy, Jenny, Julie, Stephanie, Brynn, Jacob and Meagan; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
George was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a World War II Veteran, and he worked at American Can Company for 35 years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, 6511 Uvalde, Houston, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
