After retiring from Exxon in the electrical department he went back to what he loved to do, raising cattle. He took pride in everything he did including being a volunteer with the Wooster Volunteer Fire Department and the fire department in Exxon.
His greatest joy came from his family and the many life-long friendships he made along the way. He always had a good story to tell about his life and experiences that would leave you laughing and so entertained. His stories will be missed.
George is preceded in death by his wife Jimmie Rae and son Ronnie. He is survived by his daughter Debbie and husband Jim; grandchildren, Tom and wife Wendi; Carrie and husband John; Elizabeth and husband Brad; great grandchildren, Ella, Lincoln, Martin, Bailey, Logan, Emma and Jackson & Emma Sloan.
