Life is Sweet; Heaven is Paradise

This Earth lost a good woman when Georgia Marie Jannise Bilnoski departed as the result of a sudden death on Sunday January 17, 2021. Before she left though, she made her mark here touching many lives through her good deeds such as volunteering for numerous activities over many years at St. Jude’s parish where she attended, helping out her family, and many times, sharing a good laugh with anyone and everyone. What a wonderful gift to be able to laugh easily and be happy! Georgia also loved gardening in her yard and always looked forward to spring for the beauty of wildflowers.

Georgia was born on April 8, 1935 to Leo and Ada Jannise and grew up to become a masterful Cajun cook from her mother. She married Edmond Bilnoski in 1953 and they settled in Highlands, TX as lifelong citizens of the community. Their marriage of 63 years resulted in three daughters, Sandra Boudloche (Husband Paul), Kathy Weaver (Husband Bobby), and Becky Searcy (Husband Bruce). During her life, her parents, Edmond Bilnoski, two brothers Martin and Leo James Jannise, a sister Mary Jean Barron, and a grandson, Adam Boudloche predeceased Georgia.

Surviving Georgia are her daughters mentioned above, a brother Nelson Jannise, and a sister Gracie Forrest. Also included are grandchildren Jason Weaver (Wife Rhonda), Brandon Weaver (Wife Krista), Paige Searcy, and Brittany Carney (Honorary). Great grandchildren include Zane Weaver, James Boudloche, Savannah, Hunter, Sadie Weaver, and, Alexis Lewis (Honorary). Other honorary family members include Helen and Seabon Rountree. Georgia always called Helen her “Stepdaughter”. Pets Susie, Meneaux, and Wildee will dearly miss her.

Honoring the family as Pallbearers are Jason Weaver, Brandon Weaver, Zane Weaver, Bruce Searcy, John Auzenne, and Ricky Cannon.

Services will be held at 10:00a m on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX, 77521. After the service at the chapel, a graveside service will follow at Sterling-White Cemetery, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, TX, 77562. Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, facial coverings are required and social distancing is encouraged both at the chapel and graveside services.
