Geraldine Bailey Crawford

Geraldine Bailey Crawford, 93, of Highlands was born September 22, 1920 in Baytown and passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Highlands and the Highlands Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #261.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lula Bailey; husband, Leon Crawford; brother, James Palmer Bailey; and sister, Frances Lund. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Stanley Sherman of Highlands; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Bailey, sister, Florine Nalley, brother-in-law, Charles Lund, and sister-in-law, Bernice Bailey, all of Baytown; grandchildren and their spouses, Leon and Jessica Moody, Keri and Michael Wilson, William Moody, and Jerry and Brandi Moody; and 13 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday, January 24, 2014, beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral to follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Edwards and Chaplain Mark Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Leon Moody, Billy Moody, Jerry Moody, Michael Wilson, Michael Pope and Jesse Hennigan. Honorary pallbearers will be Aren Touchon, Matthew Wilson, Andrew Mosley, Matthew Myrick, and Tyler Hennigan.
