

Gladys Belle Webb passed away Thursday, February 24, 2005 in a League City nursing home. She was born June 28, 1926, in Helena, Arkansas to Tom & Lelia May Howie. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray W. Webb, sister, Dee Tucker, and brother, Kenneth Howie. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn R. & Edward L. Hildebrand Jr., son & daughter-in-law, Wayne W. & Liz Webb, sister, Francis Berry; grandchildren, Edward L. Hildebrand III, Robert Warren Hildebrand, and Julia Catherine Webb.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, 10:00 am at Navarre Chapel with Chaplain Frank Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Edward Hildebrand III, Robert Hildebrand, Bobby Bonds, John H. Echols, Andrew Echols, Hugh Echols, Richard Godwin, and Mickey Eastman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Bailey, Blaien Friermood, Keith Marshall, Jack Adcox, Don Woods, Ray Miller, Tom Hazelwood, Dan Faust Sr., John C. Echols, & Ken Elliott.
Our mother’s life was dedicated to her family. She cherished the times spent with her children and grandchildren. Our mother loved having company. She always had a place at her table for a hungry ballplayer or fisherman. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Elaine McMichael, Opal Gipson, Dot Puckett, Dr. Kory Guidry, and the Triumph Hospital Staff.
