

Glen Lee Hamilton, 59, of Huffman, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2006. He was born in Beaumont, TX April 23, 1947. He worked at Brown and Root for Many years and also owned Glen’s Pest Control from 1976 to 1983. He was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church for over 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Ward Hamilton; mother, Julia Elizabeth Hamilton; and a sister, Jessie Hamilton.
He is survived by his high school love of his life, Judy Cryer Hamilton, of 40 years of marriage; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Scotty Michot of Huffman; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Krissy Hamilton, Shane and Leona Hamilton, all of Huffman; seven loving grandchildren, Stephen Hamilton, Abigail Hamilton, Jesse Hamilton, Kayla Hamilton, Britney Hamilton, Madison Hamilton, and Kyle Michot, all of Huffman; loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, P.J. and Alphanel Cryer of Woodville, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Meryl Holifield of Silsbee, TX; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Danny Bezet. Burial will be at Farrell Cemetery, near Woodville, at 3:30 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers are Danny Smith, Tuffy Parrish, Dickie Green, Harvey Ponder, Steven Davis, and Sandy Sanders.
