Grace Marie Edwards Fulton

Grace Marie Edwards Fulton, 86, of Baytown, TX was born September 12, 1921 in Eastgate and passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007 in a local hospital. She received a Masters Degree in Education from Sam Houston State University and was a retired Home Economics Teacher at Robert E. Lee High School. She was a member of St. John ‘s United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin G. Edwards and Johnnie Fulton and parents, George and Vera Holbrook. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry V. and Shirley Edwards of Baytown; stepdaughter, Janelle Goodall of Baytown; stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, James and Lois Fulton, Bob and Sedonia Fulton, and Charlie and Earline Fulton, all of Baytown and Bill and Carolyn Fulton of Garden Ridge; sister, Yvonne Thorshov of Conroe; brother, Milton Ray Holbrook of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, David G. Edwards of Dallas, Heather Edwards Suder of Houston, Bryan Brand of Seabrook, and Kimberly Brand of Baytown; great grandchildren, Amanda Edwards of Baton Rouge, LA, Ashley Edwards of Houston, Victoria and Austin Edwards, both of Dallas, and Jackson Suder and Grace Marie Suder, both of Houston; great great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Edwards of Highlands; and a niece and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Thorshov, Tim Thorshov, Dan Thorshov, David Edwards, Bryan Brand, Charlie Fulton.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, November 26, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 501 S. Alexander, Baytown, TX 77520 with Rev. Sam Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Her family would like to thank all of the many caregivers who have provided love and kindness to her since her illness.
