Grace McFatridge-Fenton

Grace McFatridge-Fenton, 90, of Baytown, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011 in Baytown. She was born August 11, 1920 in Charleston, Texas to her late parents, David B. Cantrell and Mabel C. Bowman Cantrell.

Grace formerly lived in Cooper, Texas where she was a graduate of Cooper High School in 1936, has lived in Baytown since 1942, owned and operated the Modern Beauty Shop and was a member of Second Baptist Church, Goose Creek Rebekah Lodge #453 and Exxon Annuitants.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ervin McFatridge and Fred Fenton; brothers, Curtis L. Cantrell and O. F. ""Bud"" Cantrell and a sister, Mozelle Cummings.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Dale McFatridge and his wife Pat of Bishop, Texas, Thomas Edwin McFatridge and his wife Cookie of Sugarland and Michael Ray McFatridge and his wife Sharon of LaPorte; grandchildren, Brian and Tonya McFatridge, Michelle Riedel, Shannon and Ronnie Doyle, Sean McFatridge and Summer Hunter, Ava and Dane Leach, Richard and Diana McFatridge, Angie and Ray Pena and Thomas Michael McFatridge; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Conner and Ryan Doyle, Logan, Jackson, Ryan, Chad and Brandon McFatridge, Ray Pena, Jr., Andrew and Ashley Pena, Britteny McFatridge, Alexander and Maegan Riedel, Michael and Abbigail Kellerhall, Chelsea and Tristen Leach and Zach, Ethan and Kaitlyn McFatridge and a great-great-grandchild, Christopher Riedel and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2011 at Navarre Funeral Home. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
