Gregoria Cardona Tristan peacefully passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Houston Methodist Hospital, Texas Medical Center Houston, Texas, surrounded by her children. She was born on January 2, 1934 to Teodoro Cardona and Dominga Mata in San Pedro, Villa de Guadalupe, SLP, Mexico. She married Antonio Tristan on November 20, 1950 in Santa Rosalia del Centro, SLP, Mexico.
Gregoria is preceded in death by her beloved husband Antonio Tristan, Sr., siblings: Leonor Cardona Martinez, Genovevo Cardona, Antonio Cardona and Angel Cardona; parents: Teodoro Cardona and Dominga Mata. She is survived by her seven children: Simona Rueda, Carolina Steele (Greg), Marina Munoz, Paulina Steele (Robert), Yolanda Olguin (Eleuterio), Antonio Tristan, Jr., and Irene Tristan; six grandchildren: Obed Steele, Pamela Pena, Samuel Munoz, Andrew Steele, Andra Steele and Elian Olguin; three great grandchildren: Emilio Pena, Catalina Pena, Bella Steele, many nieces and nephews.
The Tristan family thanks Dr. Kamran A Khan, Dr Sherine Tadros and staff for providing many years of amazing care to our dear parents.
An invitation to viewings and funeral services which will be held at Earthman Funeral Home Baytown, Texas on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5PM – 8PM and Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10AM – 11AM. Burial services will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:30AM. Thank you to everyone for their love, prayers and acts of kindness during this difficult time.
