Gregory A. Thomas

Gregory A. Thomas, 58, of Baytown was born September 30, 1956, in Oakland, CA and passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a 1974 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and attended Lee College. He retired from ExxonMobil in 2013 with 36 years of service and was a member of Old River Baptist Church. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Thomas and brothers, Donald Wayne Thomas and Kenneth Ray Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cindy Thomas and sons, Eric Thomas and Brandon Thomas, all of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Jay Powers of Sparks, NV; and granddaughters, Mia Michelle Thomas and Cristina Olivia Thomas.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral home with Bobby Baillio officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jay Wooten, Tommy Neimeyer, Glenn White, Ron Borrenpohl, Jay Powers, and Lee Hesselmeyer.
