Guadalupe Lopez

Guadalupe “Lupita” Lopez, 61, of Baytown, was born December 12, 1943 in LaJoya, Tamaulipas, Mexico and went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17, 2004. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Dwight Canizares officiating. Burial will follow at Hill of Rest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Feliciano Garcia, Joaquin Garcia, Gerardo Garcia, Ricky Garcia, Roland Garcia, and Cesar Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricardo Garcia Jr., Gabriel Rivera Jr., Luis Escobar, and Raul Rivera.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin Lopez Ochoa and Maria Victoria Hernandez Rangel, and her sister, Trinidad Cruz Lopez.

She is survived by her husband, Refugio “Cuco” Garcia; children, Feliciano “Chano” Garcia and Ashley, Joaquin Garcia, Mari Garcia, Gerardo “Lalo” Garcia and wife Ana, and Norma Garcia; grandchildren, Joann Guadalupe Garcia, Hennessy Marie Garcia, and Carlee Ann Garcia; and siblings, Joaquin Lopez, Humberto Lopez, Nena Lopez, Juana Lopez, Blanca Ramirez, Maruca Lopez, and Polo Lopez.
