Mrs. Lupe was a beautiful woman. I had the pleasure of meeting her when Ralph and I went to Ashble Smith Elementary. She always had a beautiful smile . May she RIP. 

I love you grandma Lupe. I miss the times when I would always come over when I was little and get into everything. You always had a positive attitude and there was never a day I would see you angry. Thank you for always being there, every party, holiday, celebration. It meant a lot that you kept the littlest things close to you and you never threw any of it away. I know Eva is going to miss you more than anything, as will I. Thank you for staying strong till the very end, I know you put up a good fight. Love you and I will miss you. 

Words cannot describe how fortunate I feel to have been a part of this precious woman’s life.  Always a lady, Lupe Rios was the perfect balance of grace and independence.  She was strong willed till the end, never seeking approval; yet content in doing things her way.  Ever the fashion plate, she was always dressed to the nines for our family gatherings.
What I will miss most about her is her warm energetic spirit and the way she welcomed me into her life.  No matter how bad she felt, she never let it show.  She always let out a big “Hola Mija!” every time we talked or spent time together.  Although she was small in stature, she had a unique magnetic enthusiasm about her.
In all my years, I have never met anyone with such a zest for life.  I recall taking her for joy rides around Galveston county.  We chatted and listened to Tejano music the whole time.  She loved listening to Selena’s music with me.  How I enjoyed singing along with her during the ride.
My fondest memory was the time we stayed up the whole night watching all 6 of the Mission Impossible movies.  We binged on baby hot pickles and popcorn that night.  What a blast!!!  She made me feel like I was a kid again.  Like we were having a sleepover slumber party.  She just kept saying, “Otra Mija.”  So I kept changing the blue ray disc till we finished watching them all.  
I could go on and on about the joyous times we spent together.  I am so thankful to have had such a beautiful soul in my life.  I know that she is surely livening things up in Heaven right now.  May you Rest in Peace my beloved Mother-In-Law, Lupe.  I will always hold a special place in my heart for you.

My Grandmother was awesome.  So many memories growing up as a little boy to a growin man. I am greatful for the time I was able to spend with her. I will miss her hugs, hers kisses ,her laugh, and her beautiful smile.  I will always think of you and miss you. I'm so greatful you were able to meet your great grandchild Zayne. He will know how great of a woman and human being you were, and an even wonderful Grandmother/ Great Grandmother you were. Rest easy now Grandma.  We Love You So Much & Always. God Bless You. We are so saddened by Lupita's passing. Our deepest condolences to the family. Lupita was a wonderful, kind individual. She took care of my mama with so much care which was a great relief for me and family. They were good friends and shared many laughs together reminiscing of their younger days, all the dancing they did. I am so grateful to have had her in my life, she will be missed and will live in our hearts forever.

Lupe was such an amazing woman. I loved her laugh and her no nonsense attitude. She had the kindest, loving heart in anyone I've ever had the honor of meeting. She was such a wonderful friend and care giver to my Grandma. The love she gave will always be remembered. She will always hold a special place in my heart. 

It is with sadness that we send our families condolences to Lupe family. She was not only our family friend, she worked watching our beloved mother/mother-in-law (our Nana). She did that with such pride. Keeping Nana company giving her peace of mind that she wasn’t alone.  Rest In Peace our Angel. We adore you and will always keep you in our hearts.

So sorry for your loss.  Lupe was my step grandmother, but I saw her as just my grandmother. She showed me so so much love and kindness.  She had such a beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed.  💜

You always have treated me with such kindness. I will forever remember our many weekend outings.  Poking in new shops, greenhouses and stores.  We shared a lunch and giggles.  You could pinch any plant and grow a thing of beauty. I will miss the smile and that twinkle in your eye.
