Our beloved father, Guillermo Arreola Sr., 86, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on June 17, 2022 in Baytown, Texas. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on February 10, 1936 to Manuel Arreola and Petra Moreno Arreola. He was married to Maria Arreola for 50 years and 7 months.
Guillermo was a devoted son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend that deeply cared for his wife, children and grandchildren. Guillermo was a family man who loved spending time on the farm and made every effort that his family stayed together. He united the family at Sunday afternoon barbecues and our family celebrations. He modeled and ensured that his family stayed united and close by caring, raising, mentoring and guiding his family. Over the years, he helped his daughters and sons by encouraging them to achieve their goals and dreams. Guillermo loved to laugh with the family and spend time with his grandkids.
Guillermo is preceded in death by; father, Manuel Arreola, mother, Petra Moreno; sisters Ninfa Garcia Arreola, Ofelia Arreola; son, Alfredo Arreola and grandson Roel M Tavira.
Guillermo is survived by; his wife Maria Arreola; sister Hortencia Rivas; brothers Basilio Arreola, Teodoro Arreola; sister, Alicia Arreola; his children Manuel Arreola, Guillermo Arreola; daughters Maribel Arreola, Elizabeth and son-in-law Rogelio Tavira, Eduardo and daughter-in-law Reanna Arreola, Mayra Arreola; grandchildren Samantha Cuellar, Roy A. Tavira, Rafael A. Tavira, Angelo A. Arreola, Victoria L. Tavira and Adriel A. Arreola and two great grandkids James Vasquez and Jeremiah Cuellar.
Guillermo will be deeply missed by all his loved ones. He will forever be in our hearts and memory. His caring, compassionate, loving, inspiring, devoting, funny and humorous personality will always be remembered.
