Henry Elmer McCagg

Henry Elmer McCagg, 78, of Baytown, passed away Monday, March 12, 2007, at a Baytown area hospital. He was born August 19, 1928 in Damon, TX.He started his career as a band instructor and then repaired instruments for Baytown Music Shop for many years. He served his county in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Edith McCagg; brother, Thomas Ray McCagg; sister Cassie Enderli; niece, Charlotte Smith.

He is survived by his brother Elzie McCagg and wife Elsie; nephews and nieces, Lynn Enderli and wife Charlene, Charlie Ray Enderli, Billy McCagg and wife Jill, Ralph McCagg and wife Allison, great niece and nephew, Geoffrey and Natalie Smith, Jennifer and Eldar Gafaror; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 1:00 P.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Damon Community Cemetery in Damon, TX at 4:00 p.m.
