Heraclio Gonzalez Rodriguez

It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of “The man. The myth. The legend". "Men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him" Heraclio (Rocky) Gonzalez Rodriguez, passed away on June 23 2017 , at Memorial Hermann Hospital surrounded by his family.

At his request, no viewing or funeral will be held instead we will be having a celebration of his life!

He is survived by his two sons, Heraclio Rodriguez Jr , and Juan Rodriguez and daughter-in- laws, Jessica and Amanda ; grandchildren: Heraclio Rodriguez III, Juan Rodriguez II ,Izabella Rodriguez , Kaylee Rodriguez , Ezekiel and Akyra ; His sisters: Martha Martinez, Tina Curtis , and his brother Aroldo Rodriguez.

Rocky’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His life and his death taught all those that knew him about wisdom, grace, sovereignty ,conspiracy and power. Rocky loved to tell stories and you could be sure 50 % of every story was true, You just never knew which 50%.

My Beautiful Father, you left this earth on 23 of June 2017 (I am still in disbelief). Dad, I am so proud of how Brave & Strong you were to the very end! The memories we made, I will always hold close to my heart! Dad, see the comfort that you have brought me, see my Smile that looks like yours, see the love that I share everyday with family & friends and know that you will Always be the sunshine in my life. I hope you are at peace Dad & that you are still smiling. We will forever Love & Miss you Dad!

Thank you for sharing your wisdom with me and always being there for us. You taught me to be hard working and never give up. You were a great father and wonderful grandfather. I will miss your humor and wit. I love you dad.
