Howard W. Martin

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lance & Gladys Martin, three brothers and one sister.

He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife of 35 years, Sandra; son Rodney Wesley and wife Amy Lorain Martin, daughters Karren Elizabeth and husband Craig Gitchell of Dayton, Texas, Debra Hahn and Kevin Shanks of Belle, Missouri. Known to all six of his grandchildren as Pawpaw; Dustin Martin, Cody Guerrero and Skylar Gitchell, Skyler and Lance Martin, and Heather Shanks, also leaving behind family including three sisters Laverne Darby, Betty Williams, and Carol Maughan of Mississippi, and many dear friends that always held special place in his heart.

He retired from Williams Brothers Construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator and served in the United States Military.

The family will receive friends at Earthman’s Funeral Home 3919 Garth Road Baytown, Texas 77521 on Friday, September 9, 2011, from 12 noon until 2 pm, with the funeral service following at 2 pm, interment at Memory Gardens, 8624 Garth Road Baytown, Texas 77521.
