Irene A Montgomery

Irene A. Montgomery, 85, of Beach City was born October 8, 1930, in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma and passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. She has lived in the Baytown area since 1972. She was a member of Fisher Road Baptist Church.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Ewing Wever and Arminta Smith Wever, husband Vern Montgomery, and daughters, Sharon Cain and Dale Hamlin. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Robert Carey; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Rita Montgomery, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home, Friday, May 13, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8p.m. Services will take place Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Sam Hughes officiating. Burial to follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Robert Carey, Joshua Carey, Richard Dobbins, Naeem Khalid, Roger Burger, Clayton McIntyre.
