I/We were deeply saddened to find out one of our former neighbors/friends had passed away. We were all neighbors in our little neighborhood La Isla which consisted of West Gulf, West Humble and West Wright streets. We had many good memories from our neighborhood where people truly cared for each other. Our mothers like Irene looked out for all of the neighborhood children to keep us safe and out of trouble. If they thought we might be up to no good or doing something risky they didn't hesitate to call our mothers. Our prayers and condolences from the Jose Guadalupe Coy and Adelfa Arredondo Coy family. May God watch over your family.
