Jackie Gold Sanders

Jackie Gold Sanders, 53, of Baytown was born September 9, 1952 in Houston and passed away Monday, September 12, 2005 in a Houston hospital. She attended Ross S. Sterling High School and Lee College and was a member of the Baptist faith. She worked for Wal-Mart for 17 years in the payroll department, where she received several performance awards and was sent to different Wal-Mart stores to help set them up before they opened for business.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Bennett, Robert English, Gary Hollaway, Shane Pye, George Sands IV, and Daryl Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hollaway and Ronald Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. J.C. Gold and grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. A.M. Andrus and Cloe Wilmuth. She is survived by her husband, Gideon Sanders Jr. of Baytown; sons, Dr. Chad Kelly of Cypress and Cory Stover of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jared Havenar of Dayton; mother, Joyce Gold of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Randy Cox of Dayton; grandchildren, Corbyn Pye and Brianne Pye; special aunt and uncle, Margaret and R.M. Minter of Baytown; and special friends, Mary Yee of Galena Park and Rose Young of Baytown.
