Jacqueline Shirley-Champion

Jackie was a free spirit and an inspiration to all that knew her. She was fearless, adventurous and willing to try anything. She enjoyed hiking, camping, traveling, biking and completed two triathlons in 2016. Jackie lived her life in HD, while the rest us live in regular TV. She was never at a loss for words, many, many, many words. She was a woman of faith, loved her Lord, family and friends and was a mentor to many. She was our strong-willed angel and will be missed by all who knew her.

She attended San Jacinto Christian Academy, Barbers Hill Junior High and graduated from Barbers Hill High School. She attended East Texas Baptist University where she received her bachelor's degree. She received her master's in business from the University of Texas-Tyler. She was employed by Merrill Lynch as a broker assistant in Dallas, Texas.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Angela Sweatt and husband, Sonny of Houston, TX; father, Randy Shirley of Beach City, TX; sisters, Candice Bruhn and husband, Nathan of Clearlake, TX, and Nicole Kubin of Conroe, TX; Niece, Collette Bruhn; nephews, Liam Bruhn and Faustin Pamplin; maternal grandmother, Eve Foreman of Houston; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Shirley of Baytown, TX and her best friend and companion Tango as well as other family and friends.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Second Baptist Church of Baytown, 6227 N. Main St. Baytown, Texas, 77521. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at The Second Baptist Church of Baytown. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Jackie's life.
