James H. Harris, 74, of Baytown was born March 31, 1941, in Archer City, TX and passed away Monday, February 15, 2016, in a Winnie healthcare facility. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of Highlands Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Emma Harris and brother, Eddie Harris. He is survived by his wife, Judy Harris of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jimmy Bills of Burkburnett; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Harris and Samuel and Heather Harris, all of Anahuac; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dotty Harris of Conroe; grandchildren, Darion Walker, Christian Fountain, Maegan Walker, Michael, Caleb, Perry, and Emma Harris; and two great grandchildren.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, February 18, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Highlands Baptist Church, 111 E. Canal Rd., Highlands, TX 77562 with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cesar Sepulveda, Caleb Harris, Darion Walker, Brandon Fountain, Lee Smith, and Landon Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Harris.
