James Darryl Travis

Darryl was a devoted dad, husband, son and brother, who always made time for his son and his family. Darryl was most passionate about spending time with Austin, whether they were off roading and playing in the mud, working on home projects or just sitting around the dinner table. Darryl enjoyed working with his hands, and could accomplish anything he set his mind too. Darryl was a man of character, integrity and everyone always knew where they stood with him. Darryl's ability to impact all of our lives will be greatly missed.

Darryl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harrell and Audrey Lambert, Buddy Travis and Betty Maxwell and cousin, Shane Lambert.

He is survived by his wife Kim Travis; son, James Austin Travis; parents, J.D. and Bonnie Travis; sisters Jaime Herrington and husband, Jason and Alicia Travis and husband, Kenneth Collier; nephews, Brant Capps and Chance Collier as well as numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown, TX 77521. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown, TX with burial to follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
