

Jana Leigh Fayle Collier was born in Baytown, Texas on February 10, 1953, and passed away on March 31, 2010. Jana is survived by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, George Wesley Collier, Jr. (""Wes""); daughter, Lindsay Collier Sparks, son George Wesley Collier, III (""G.W."") and son-in-law, Jason Sparks.
Jana and Wes met during Biology Class in their freshman year of Robert E. Lee High School. It took Wes a while to get the first date, but he always said she was ""the one."" They married June 21, 1975, and were happily married for nearly 35 years. Jana would always say that ""Daddy"" was her soul mate and he the same.
Jana attended schools in Baytown, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1971 and attended Texas A&M University and The University of Houston. Jana worked for over 30 years as a commercial insurance writer at Harris County Insurance Center.
Jana loved horses and enjoyed attending horse shows to watch her daughter Lindsay ride. She also took great pleasure in hearing of G.W.'s outdoor exploits.
Jana was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Percy Fayle; her brother, Dr. James Fayle; her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wesley Collier, Sr.; and dear aunts, uncles and cousins. Jana is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Janet Fayle; her sister, Judy Fayle Font; her sister and brother-in-law, Ross and Linda Martin; sister Marcia Fayle Stewart; sister-in-law, Victoria Bordelon Fayle; brother-in-law, Jerry Don Collier; aunt, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Hill and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, including her special cousin Deborah Yocham.
A celebration of Jana's life will be held at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at Navarre on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Bob Fayle, Ross Martin, Gary Savell, Jason Sparks, Robert Henry, Gary Gates and Dr. Kory Guidry. The family would also like to recognize Jana's special friends, Sylvia Larson, Kelle Davis, Denise Camp and Denice Young, and all of the wonderful people at Harris County Insurance Center.
