Jeanette Black Miller, age 83, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas on July 20, 1939 to Louis and Thelma Black. She was married to Roy James Miller for 39 years. Jeanette worked at the Astrodome for 11 years in the wardrobe department, where she met many famous people.
Jeanette loved to sing, and dance. Her favorite artist was Loretta Lynn.
She was preceded in death by; parents, Louis and Thelma Black; husband, Roy J. Miller; sister Gloria Gossett; aunt Mary M. Long; sons, Gary W Evans and Joseph H Evans; grandson James Plato.
She is survived by; daughters, Janice Rodriguez and Diane Shortridge; grandsons, Victor Rodriguez, Brian Rodriguez; granddaughters, Cassaundra Hinckley, Mary Gonzalez, Jamie Drossart, Alicia Gonzalez and Whitney Evans; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; half sister Judy Yargo.
A funeral service for Jeanette will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at External Service Location, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
