

The funeral services are being directed by Earthman’s Funeral, Baytown, Thursday December 03, 2015 at 1pm with visitation the same day from 11am-1pm. Burial will follow the funeral at Earthman’s Memory Garden cemetery, Baytown, Texas.
Ray was born in Galveston, Texas on June 29, 1951. He grew up in Galveston and Corpus Christi before moving to Highlands.
He was a Merchant Marine as a young man, a carpenter by trade, who later became a heavy machine operator and worked throughout his career with several Houston area companies. He was a member of Coady Baptist Church in Baytown.
Ray was well known for his involvement in the Highlands and surrounding communities, the Highlands Sports Association and the American Softball Association for coaching, officiating and umpiring numerous sports, including football, basketball, softball, and baseball. He enjoyed watching the Oakland Raiders football team, and teaching his grandchildren different trade skills.
Ray is survived by his ex-wife Pamela Kay Sorrells; Children: Robert Sean Mascorro, wife Jaclyn; Felicity Mascorro, spouse Scott, Bianca Mascorro-Crain, husband Chris; Jesse Ray Mascorro III, spouse Brianna; Angela Kay Moak, husband William; Jason Dixon, wife Sandra. Ray’s ex-wife Teri Kay Wilcox.
Grandchildren: Kaden Ray, Daicia, Brianna, Garrett, Jeffery, Rycki, Jordana, Hannah, Thomas, Tristan, Baydine, Katie, Ajia, Jessica, Brittany, Justin, Stephanie, Matt, Keith, Curtis, and Noah.
Great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Aiden, Fate, Jaydn, Jacob, Jess, and Emiliey
Brothers: Mark, Daniel, and Jerry “Pete” Mascorro; Sister: Lois Mascorro Kirkwood
Several cousins, family members, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse R. Mascorro, Sr. and Johnie Worley Mascorro; grandparents Passie May and Mark H. Worley, Sr.; Katherine Green and Jimmy Mascorro.
He will be deeply missed by all that loved him.
