

Jesus is survived by the love of his life, Maria Sanchez Jimenez, wife of 43 years; their beloved children, son, Rogelio Jimenez & daughter-in-law Carolyn, son, Steven Jimenez & daughter-in-law Magdalena Jimenez, daughter Laura J. Garcia & son-in-law, Alberto German, son, Jose Jimenez; grandchildren, Ramon, Megan & Zachary Jimenez, Priscella & Joseph Jimenez, Berenice & Alberto German Garcia Jr. He is also survived by brothers, Raymundo & wife Stella Jimenez, Vidal Jimenez, Gabriella Avalos & her late husband, Jack and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He considered his compadres Juan & Elizabeth Lopez and the children of Lopez Boxing an extension of his family.
Jesus was a man with a colorful sense of humor; he had a passion for boxing and loved helping the youth stay active and positive. He loved music, playing the guitar and fishing. He enjoyed coaching all sports. He was always involved in his grandchildren's active lifestyles. Jesus and Maria took great pleasure in taking their grandchildren on trips which created so many unforgettable memories. They would also travel and felt blessed to have those opportunities. He loved having BBQs and family get-togethers. He worked at Mobil/Agrifos for 36 years.
Please join his family and friends in a gathering in honor of his life. Visitation will be held 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown. Service will be held at 7 pm, on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests to friends/family that donations may be made to Lopez Boxing Gym to support the youth who are the future of our community.
