Jesus Rivas, 66, A beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle & friend. Went to be with our Lord & Savior on Friday August 25, 2017. Born on November 14, 1950 in El Soliseňo Tamps, Mex. A resident of Baytown since 1973. Jesus was employed with J & S Insulators, Protherm, Kellogg Brown & Root for 44 years & GCCISD for 16 years. Jesus is survived by his wife Maria Z. Rivas. Son Rolando Rivas & Amelia Hernandez, Daughter Lupita Rivas & Juan Acevedo, Daughter Mirta Rivas & Juan Cardona & Son Fermin Rivas all from Baytown. Grandchildren Claribel Rivas, David & Serena Olivares, Isaiahs Acevedo, Ilany Acevedo, Aileen Juarez, Mikayla Juarez, Kalissa Juarez all of Baytown. Great grandchildren Isabel Reyes, Isaac Reyes & Ellie Olivares. Sister Julia & Ciro Garcia, Brother Mariano & Irma Rivas, Sister Lucinda & †Ruben Sauceda, Brother Maximo & Elda Rivas, Brother Jose & Olivia Rivas, †Daniel & Norma Rivas, Sister Emma & Placido Gomez Jr. And numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2017, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a Prayer Service beginning at 6 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home with Pastor Roberto Ruben Villareal. Interment will be on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Sterling White Cemetery in Highlands Texas.

Pallbearers will be Omar Garcia, Jesus Sauceda, Roel Rivas, Emanuel Gomez, Freddy Mendoza, and Martin Rivas. Honorary Pallbearers are Daniel Rivas, Jr., and Mike Garcia.
