Jill Thayer Walmsley, 65, of Baytown, Texas, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Houston, Texas, on August 2, 1959, to the late Keith and Ruth O’Bryan Thayer.
On February 1, 1992, Jill married the love of her life Dr. G. Storm Walmsley. Together they built a beautiful life together. They had one precious son, in which they named Thayer. Jill loved nothing more than being a mother. Her family was everything to her.
Jill pursued many interests, some of which included talking on the phone to her siblings and friends and spending time with her family. She found great joy in going shopping with her sisters and daughter-in-law Aubri on Saturdays. They would hop from shop to shop spending the day together. Jill was known as the life of the party. Her vibrant personality lit up the entire room when she entered. She was naturally a caretaker to all. Jill also enjoyed the simple things in life like just staying home. She was a meticulous housekeeper and always kept it immaculate.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband Dr. G. Storm Walmsley; her only son Thayer and his wife Aubri Walmsley; her siblings Jane Howerton, John Thayer, Joe Thayer, Joan Robinson, Julie Page, Jacque Willardson, and her twin Jimmy Thayer; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
