

Joe Ross Aylor, departed this life at home on March 10, 2006. He was born May 4, 1948 in Baytown, Texas to Joe and Elizabeth Aylor. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, joined the Navy in 1968 served in Vietnam on the Navy SeaBees Team. He’s been in the construction business his entire life and at the time of his death was the owner of ARJ Contractors. He enjoyed working, hunting, and the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Aylor; daughters and sons-in-law, Angel and Mark Carlson, Kristi and Troy Bowden; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Ray and Lauren Aylor; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Milton Green; sister, Lynn Davis; stepbrother, Brad Wolcik; mother-in-law, Troylene Keoughan; granddaughters, Delaina Smith, Rylee Bowden, Chiann Aylor; uncles, and aunts, OB Aylor, JC, and Olga Aylor; nephews, Jim LeCompte, Darrin Hanson, Wes Hardin; and numerous cousins, and friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Andrew Provazek. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Wolcik, Troy Bowden, Mark Carlson, Curtis Harrison, Pablo Guerrero, and Bobby Fayle. Honorary pallbearers are O.B. Aylor, and J.C. Aylor.
