Joe Cephus Watkins

Joe Cephus Watkins, 68 years of age, of Baytown, TX, passed away November 3, 2020. He was born in Tylertown, MS on September 26, 1952 to Joe Carter Watkins and Betty Jean Renfroe. He was married to Donna Jean Watkins for 17 years. Joe had a career as a Supervisor Level 1 in Tank Building and welding for 49 years for CBI, PDM, PTC, and BBB Tank Companies.

He was a Christian who loved his Baptist church and His Lord, and he was a Mason. Joe Watkins had many lifelong friends made over the years.

Joe had a passion for many things like fishing, hunting, tank building, drinking beer, reading books for hours, cooking to feed a crowd, dancing with his wife, but what he loved most was spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Joe Carter Watkins, and his brother Ricky Watkins.

He was survived by his loving wife, Donna Jean Watkins. Five daughters, Vanessa Brown, Pj Miller (husband Scott Miller), Cindy Tims (husband Lynn Tims), Angela Garrett (husband Ron Garrett), Tiffany Hill, and one adopted son by love Dewayne Benavides. Also survived by his brother Ronnie Watkins, mother Betty Watkins, twelve Grandchildren and seventeen Great Grandchildren.
