May your soul rest in peace among all of God's Angels Brother Knight.

John volunteered at the Notre Dame St. Vincent de Paul Society for nearly three years.  John was recently recognized for attaining 2,000 hours of volunteer service as a Vincentian.  He came in six days a week and answered the phones from 7:30 until noon. He was the perfect person to do so becasue he was so friendly to all the callers.  He answered questions clients had about financial aid, took donation requests for the thrift store, and did many other tasks and duties.  John was a joy to be with.  As the president of the conference and on behalf of all members, we are all truly saddened by his passing.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  My prayers and thoughts are with you all.  May God give you strength and comfort you in your time of need.  J.A. was a wonderful man and will be truly missed by all who knew him.  I know he is resting now in a better place, as our Lord now has one of his angels back.  God bless

  We share in your sorrow and your loss..our prayers are with you all.   We will truly miss Mr.Budd. I will remember always his jokes and stories he would always share with us when we would see him.  We will always cherish our memories, especially this last visit to Kerville where you both made us feel so welcomed. Thank you. And, I know Javi loved sitting outside with Mr. Budd in the mornings on the patio watching the deer feeding out on the deer feeder.  That was a special time and we will cherish it always. 
I will miss him dearly as I know Javi, Aaron and Anthony will, too. Our prayes are with you and our Love.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Budd. He has been very special to our family and especially to Michael. Jacob has always been like a brother to Michael and Mr. Budd another grandfather. Michael's last memory of Mr. Budd was recently when he traveled to the hill country to take Mr. Budd for his pacemaker. Michael said that he and Mr. Budd talked about how much he loved feeding the white tail deer and how he had found some bread on sale for 9 or 10 cents a loaf and how excited he was so he could feed the deer every morning. Michael will always have the numerous fond memories of all of his visits with John. We all will miss John very much escpecially Michael. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. The Caves
