John Austin Holmes, III, 57, of Baytown was born October 23, 1952 in Birmingham, AL and passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in a Houston hospital. He was a process operator at ExxonMobil and enjoyed cooking, playing pool and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Austin Holmes, Jr. and is survived by his wife, Judy Holmes of Baytown; sons and daughter-in-law, Pat Holmes of Baytown and John A. “Buddy” Holmes IV and wife Gina of Crosby; mother, Sue Holmes of Baytown; and sisters, Joy Holmes of Texas and Julie Holmes of Utah.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. At his request, his body was cremated.
