John Lemond, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Edna Lemond; son, John Lemond, Jr.; brothers, Jessie Lemond and Jacob Lemond; sisters, Beatrice Lemond and Lela Fuselier. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bertha Lemond of Baytown; daughters and sons-in-law, Annette Lemelle of Baytown, Cathy and Andrew Arceneaux Jr. of Baytown, Kerry and Dexter Olivier of New Iberia, LA, and Kimm Lemond of Baytown; mother, Odile ""Nan"" Lemond of Baytown; brother and sister-in-law, Frederick and Lou Lemond, Sr. of Raywood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Augusta and Milton Sonnier of Houston and Jeannie and Ural Donahoe of Houston; sister-in-law Isabel Lemond of Raywood and grandchildren, Jeanette and Chelsea Lemelle, Alyssa Arceneaux, and Tyler, Kayla, Krista Olivier and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

His family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1907 Carolina St., Baytown, TX 77520 Thursday, August 16, 2012 beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary to follow at 9:30 a.m. A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dwight Canizares officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Arceneaux Jr., Dexter Olivier, Tyler Olivier, Frederick Lemond, Sr., James Williams, and Jerry Lange.

Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Williams, Robert Sonnier, Anthony Roussell, Fredrick Lemond Jr., Bobby Donahoe, Jay Lange and Ricky Cagnolatti.
