My deepest sympathies for the Griffin family during this most difficult time of loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and while John worked at the Texas Workforce Commission, I will never forget the warmth his smile brought to the Agency each and every day. I know John's loss will be felt by the many people he worked along side with each and every day because he was loved by many.

May his memories live on in your hearts forever. He touched so many lives! Prayers to the entire family. Melanie Busby

I met and worked with John at Texas Workforce Commission. He was a generous man, always smiling, always had a good sense of humor. I never saw him cross or upset or angry.
You will be missed John. May God's perpetual light shine upon you.

I worked in the same division with John at the Texas Workforce Commission. My condolences to his family.
I never saw the man without a smile. He always had a smile and a kind word whenever I saw him. Sometimes my husband would walk over from his agency, waiting for me to leave work and carpool home. He said John would always come over and talk to him, and he didn't even know either of us. I will remember his suits and patent leather shoes, He had pride in himself and his work.
The world has lost a fine human being.

Griffin family,
Learning of the passing of John truly broke my heart for your family. Gosh he loved you all so dearly. Worked with him for many many years at the Texas Workforce Commission. Always had a smile, and always the kindest/giving heart. He always called me Ms. C. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Dear John Griffin family, I extend my condolences on behalf of my family on the passing of our beloved John. I thank you for sharing him with us. At the Texas Workforce Commission he made many friends in the years that he worked here. There are many people who are just learning of his passing that are remembering his kindness. When we talked about family all he wanted was for his wife, children, and grandchildren to be well and he was proud of your many accomplishments. If you were happy, he was happy. He loved unconditionally and he truly never met a stranger. May we all learn from him and live by his example.
